We looked at this same problem and dealt with it differently


Unless our children show an absolute strong academic aptitude, we will be encouraging them to take up a trade/skill. Also work out there that need academic skills obtainable in 2 year or even shorter programs If you want to have kids, i would encourage you to not let that be a stumbling block.
