We used a combination


Of savings , investments, and we actually bought a fixer upper in Gainesville , which saved us a ton of money in housing . We will sell it easily . Our sons lived in it while in school and daughter lived there 1 year before transferring . It is a 2bdrm 1bath house on a bus line . We took a mortgage out on it , pd less than 90k and put about 25K into it. It’s a cute older house. Small kitchen with carport. We will sell it as soon as Grant graduates . Probably get at least $160k for it now. Very low mortgage pmts And boys shared a car. And when our daughter decided on Tulane, my mother offered to pay her housing expenses to help out! It was a huge offer . We are very fortunate. Florida resident tuition is very low compared to other states!
