Our GSP is seven and relatively calm, now. Bought her to hunt, but she's


gun shy and terrified of water. Ended up being a great family dog, though. She is our only dog and we do love her.

However, the first ~4 years, she was very high strung. You could take her running and she would keep running and running and running and want to keep running. She could be sleeping, and the slightest, tiniest noise would set her off.
