I'd rate it (as many do) as the finest literary work of the 20th century.
Countless folks recommended it to me, but I didn't take it up until I was ~ 50 years old. I was forewarned that the first 300-400 pages could be tedious, but as an economist I found them fascinating.
If you want an exceptionally instructive and life-changing (or affirming) read, this is your book.
There's a reason why Kelly King required all of his executive associates coming out of B-school to read it. There's a reason why first editions in mediocre condition command thousands of dollars.
Read it.
