It depends on the type of pressure


Zone traps - smaller guards can have problems by having to loop passes over traps, unless they learn to swing the ball quickly to negate the traps.

Man pressure - unless one of them have a distinct advantage, no help.

Biggest thing is on the defensive end. Two 6 ft guards on the court at the same time will definitely cause a mismatch for one of them. This would cause a total change for the overall team defense because of always looking to help the one being posted up.
