also think we shouldn’t ever lose recruits to programs beneath us. It goes both ways.
Michigan’s the better program, so all else equal he’ll go the unless there’s something we can offer him like more playing time or a coach he particularly likes. And sometimes they turn down that better shot at playing time for the better program. We get hurt by that and benefit from it depending on whether the other program is a Michigan or an ECU. We’re pretty high on the pecking order, a position plenty of programs would kill for, but we’re not the top.
