I have no inside knowledge but based on what I saw this year, in my opinion, I'm not convinced Bullock will ever see the field as the #1. I'm saying that because at one point, we were at the bottom of our depth chart with Knox Kadum and Bullock was never close to playing.

In today's world where playing freshmen quarterbacks is no longer shocking, in my opinion, it's very telling we didn't see Bullock. Freshmen are even allowed to play up to four games without it counting as a year of eligibility and we got nothing from Bullock. Again, in my opinion, that's very telling.

Maybe he will eventually grow into it, but my guess is by the time that happens, he's been passed on the depth chart or transferred. Not every kid can be a starter though -- you need backups and scout team members.
