I don't doubt Murphy is playing better than Bede, I just think expectations

for Murphy were really much higher overall coming into the season, so I think some of negative comments due to recent losses are more related to him not meeting fans' expectations, fair or unfair as that may be. He (and overall the team) hasn't really met my expectations as I really thought this was going to be our year, especially with some ACC teams being down and new HC at UNC and K's last year, etc.), which I now doubt. Hoping VT can address some of their known deficiencies and get on a roll come ACC time. Also, I wouldn't have felt as bad about the losses if our backups played more, but I hated losing while our backups all sat and our starters played way too many minutes.
