I’ve had the mental debate with myself of what I would do if I were the new coach. We’ve all complained about the lack of player development and recruiting/evaluating talent. So, I lean to a completely clean slate outside of Price who was a “must keep” and 100% agree with.

I’ve heard several people talk about continuity with high schools in the area, teaching new guys the lay of the land, etc. But, if we recruited so poorly and our relationships/evaluations were so poor, why is this needed?

Part of me wonders if we keep too many existing staff members will anything really change? Lots of threads on who should we keep vs give the boot over the last several days. Heard about no change to DC, keeping Vice, Smith, Price, and several others.

What’s the appropriate balance? Quite frankly, if we don’t make major changes on both sides of the ball then I’m afraid we’re signing up for 5 more years of the same result. I 100% believe in the Pry but he alone and maybe a handful of others won’t make enough of a difference.
