especially against UVA. If the defense you are playing constantly demonstrates that they can't stop X, you don't need to get creative and mix in a bunch of Y and Z. I get we could not run the ball 100% of the time but we didn't need to mix in a bunch of gimmick plays that involve pitching the ball around 5 times or a ton of motion. But that was his style. I honestly think it made him uncomfortable if a traditional run game was working so well.
