Having visited the campuses of Clemson, Auburn and Miss State….

I would say they are as similar to Tech as PSU and aTm. Clemson = Tech 15 to 20 years ago. Auburn = Tech in the 90s. MSU = Tech in the 70s campus wise ha ha.

The other land grant schools like UMCP, NCSU, UGa, UF and LSU have more of the urban flare and are probably more comparable to Ohio State and Michigan State.

I’ve never been to Purdue’s campus but I wonder if they are like Tech since West Lafayette doesn’t seem gigantic but certainly larger than State College and Blacksburg. Also never been to Ames, IA but I bet ISU is Tech-like. And Storrs CT and Amherst MA are both in the boonies but have UConn and UMass respectively.

I think you’ll find many schools similar to Tech is you visited their campuses and geographic location.
