My goal is no longer winning a national championship. Maybe losing has shifted my view, maybe age, maybe the realization that it's all about money. But I'm more interested in rooting for a team I enjoy watching. That's a winning team, but also one I can relate to and be proud of. That's the beauty of college football in my mind.

If Price is cheap (relatively speaking), I think it'd be really fun to give him a shot. If he fails, we move on to something else and everybody feels good that we gave it a shot. What have we got to lose? This isn't like the end of the Beamer era where we were teetering on the edge of relevance. We've fallen off that cliff in my mind. Let's just have fun now.

Give him a shorter contract with middling pay and fund the assistants he needs to succeed.

Whatever we decide, I'm just going to enjoy it.
