Good way to think about it. I have a thought as to why Mutts did not shoot


I agree Mutts had a good game. He BATTLED on the boards. It seemed like every missed Memphis shot, Mutts was pulling down a rebound against a bigger guy.

The Memphis D did a good job on keeping Aluma and Mutts from getting the ball down low on the block - where they have the advantage to score with good post moves. Mutts rarely got the ball in his "scoring position". A few times, he tried to take matters into his own hands and drive to the paint into the D... and lost the ball. I think Mutts tried to find ways to score, but the Memphis D defended well down low.
