UCLA is a HUGE school with a really large fan base used to being in the car to go any where. Miami is a actually a really small school jammed into a slummy area of the Miami metro so people inside the U seldom venture must past the first streets, much less then 9 miles to the stadium.

Pitt, has room. Could do it, but they are weird about it. Cincinnati has got it right. Nippert has had a ton of money poured on it and for a 40k stadium its setting is great. It is not only ON campus it is IN the campus. When Cincinnati has a game coming up that they know is going to be a gate rush like when WVU comes to town, they move the game downtown to Paul Brown which works really well because that is where all of the hotels are any way. It works there, Pitt could do the same thing but didn't. Miami is just cheap and not all that bright. A solid program has a President-AD and Coach on the same page today, tomorrow and into the near and long term future. Miami presidents are not aware they have a football team and if they are aware, they think it is a club program.
