VT has an underdog mindset, which can be good or bad, depending upon

the situation. Wrestling is the closest to establishing a championship attitude, with softball also heading in that direction. VT Wrestling was one weight class win away from victory last night vs. Ohio State. They've had athletes successfully compete on a world level and the SERTC enables them to train with top competition. Robie and Frayer are the two coaches that others at VT should emulate. They recruit at a very high level and hold their athletes to very high standards.
