I’m very interested to see how things go the next two weeks, everyone has talked about how impressed they’ve been with huff during his press conferences, in my opinion you have that in your interim head coach right now along with being a former hokie. If the next two weeks go well I would certainly hope that whit at least gives him an interview and an opportunity to sell his vision for the program. While he does not have HC experience and does not come from a big program if he has the leadership and vision to hire experienced coordinators and bolster the recruiting staff he could be just as successful as a big name hire. While I think the emphasis on having someone with big program experience is important, I don’t think that it’s one size fits all approach and it’s more important to have the perspective on how the big programs are successful versus mimicking it. One other thing that I like about JC is that all of the other former Hokies are from the glory years of the program, JC was a part of building those first 3 successful seasons that were the beginning of beamers success. I personally think that he can inspire the team these next two weeks and would interested to see what he would have to offer as the new head coach.
