No idea or even very doubtful if he can be that good but no one other than Peterson doesn’t have baggage or risk and some would say hes even a risk being a west guy. The best hires all may not “fit”. Huff fits the culture, is very dynamic and can be a ceo type that with his connections and if we pay, can get great assistants. He’s not as risky as some think imo. He coached for fleck, NFL, miss st, Penn state and saban made him an assistant head coach. He’s worked with legends. Nick kind of knows what he’s doing and who has abilities. First year at a program and instilling your systems and changes, record is likely to be mediocre. He’s the best recruiter in the country by one publication and watching one presser you can see why. Several of my posts list his excellent traits if you care to look but I’m certainly no expert. TSLs CC also wrote a great article on him. Can’t miss.. of course not, but he brings many traits to the table that are not risky. I highly highly doubt we get worse with him. Is he the guy to get us back to relevant? I think so but only time would tell. The time is now to get him imo. A couple more years and he will be on the blue blood list. As you suggested and I agree one year as HC might scare whit and no idea if he would want to be here but I’m certain if he came you’d get immediate recruiting and fund raising bump.
