Saban wanted him


I think he's at a minimum a good position coach. Saban generally knows what he is doing. (TIC) That doesn't necessarily mean good HC as seen in the post as an unknown. Pretty certain after NFL, Penn State, Miss St experience and Saban's connections he wouldn't hire a guy with no ability to coach but sure. Just a guess on my part.
