Yeah, makes me curious if Fuente is looking at an opportunity..

and nudged things along. everyone knew it was coming post-season. both Whit & Fuente can benefit from the early start. I doubt it was a bad meeting or some random disruption that lead to the announcement. If that were the case, I doubt you'd get Fuente's classy statement re: being thankful etc.
