Yes, and I happen to think that a reorganized staff with more high quality
personel on the ground, around the players, doing the recruiting, might be the approach that can reignite our recruiting.
Throw out the top heavy over bloated one guy is the answer to everything solution.
VT is about team work, and accountability.
Eliminating the "fat" at the top, allows us to effeciently use what funds we have to hire people that can get their jobs done and be part of a team.
If we watch VT stuggle offensively, then the guy at the podium should be the offensive coordinator, not some bloated CEO covering for the problems.
It's an old, outdated way of running a football team, and it's not effective, and quite frankly,
will not work for VT.
With a better staff architecture, the money gets spend on the people that are on the ground with the players. The guys developing the talent.
Fu got comfortable, and we all saw it, he stopped coaching. He even admitted it.
What is the point of paying 1 dude the salary of a staff of 20, and how can
VT ever compete if we insist on following this rediculous model? [Post edited by jonnyhawk at 11/12/2021 09:11AM]
