You can't have a minimum wage well above what most of the manufacturing world has (whether right or wrong, not making that political argument here) and then wonder why goods aren't manufactured here.

Said another way - if we go to a truly supply and demand global economy, then the average standard of living in places like the USA will very likely go down due to lower wages here or higher prices due to higher wages in other countries.
