I'm not sure it takes balls per se but for sure fans are results oriented and he would have had to answer for a lot. But numbers are the numbers and they simply pissed away a ton of win probability punting it. Was a shame.

Compare that to Harbs decision to let Lamar go for it in almost the exact same spot earlier this year against the Chiefs. Of course, we don't have Lamar and Harbs has job security so it seems like a tougher decision. But punted it and just hoping that the defense could find a stop was really waving the flag IMO
