Alum here and now full tuition paying parent. I had slowly lost interest in VT FB over the last 5 or so years but now am reconnecting to it. My observations based on limited viewership/attendance. Please tell me if I am off base

-Fu is terrible in 4th down decisions. Look at the number of 4th down attempts over the last 4-5 years vs. our opponents. Punts way too often and attempts FGs far too frequently...just too conservative. A couple of the decisions this year have been extremely problematic from a Win Probabilty %. Is this the general consensus? (FWIW I'm an analytics believer so I'm prob biased here)

-Play calling seems to get more and more conservative particularly when VT has the lead in the 2nd half, etc. Is this the general consensus? If so, are people generally laying this at the feet of Fu or OC?

-It seems Fu was hired as a bit of a QB whisperer and modern offensive genius. The offense seems to be same as it ever was with a few jet sweeps and bubble screens thrown in. Am I correct in this?
