My former boss at Akron (now Duquesne)...


Was the first school to hire a NIL coach. But his job is more geared towards the athlete and teaching how to make themselves more marketable.

It is still illegal to work on behalf of the university to procure NIL deals for your athletes. So I dont see that role taking place under the current set of rules.
