Good stuff. We plan to use it similarly. Good to hear 285K; I found an

article that said only 5% of the Expedition Max/Suburban size SUV's make it to 200K; I find that hard to believe.
How is the ride? It is difficult to find a new one to test drive. They are all sold before hitting the lot. May need to drive a used one just to get a feel for it; but 2021 is a new generation, so it will be a little different. We test drove the Exp Max; it wasn't as smooth shifting and as comfy ride as I expected. It has a V6 twin turbo whereas the Suburban has a V8. So a little better gas mileage in the Max. We do a lot of long trips around the nation so I guess there is a trade off.
