I love the Suburban.... but I also haul lots of stuff, tow trailers, and
go on family adventures in the mountains and all.
My main requirement when choosing the model was if I could slide a full sheet of 4x8 plywood in the back and close the door.
My suburban has a 42 Gallon tank.... so the fuel prices DO hurt... BUT, you can also easily max out the Kroger fuel points at $1.00 per gallon for the full 35 gallons.
A well maintained suburban will last a long time too, if that is your thing. I have 285,000 miles on this daily driver.
