Because UVA and UNC were not going to break up the ACC unless it was

falling apart. NCST does what UNC tells it to do.

There was the possibility that they go down the road to offer us and then UVA or UNC change their minds and the SEC takes them just like the B1G did with Missouri and Nebraska. Really, I think that's the reason we weren't interested because if UVA or UNC showed interest they would have dropped us like a bad habit.
