Even if we were "invited" in 2014, we couldn't have accepted.


We were not going to make a move to weaken the ACC (UVa's conference) after UVa did what they did to get us in. If people were so sure the ACC was going to be flop, they should have sounded the alarm in 2003-04 for us to not use politics and the courts to get us in the ACC.

Now I think we could have gotten the Mizzou slot if we wanted it in 2014. And the ACC knows it. So no more favors. If an invite comes in the future, we should accept it.

I never likes the ACC. But it was a necessary decision at the time.
