I think it was just a bad game honestly. Long grass, high humidity.


everyone was sluggish.

We are really lucky in our coach. He is actually a coach that has taught professionally for over 40 years. His granddaughter is on the team. So he started coaching this group of kids back when they were 6-7. We just moved up leagues this last year because 3 of the girls (including the coaches girl and mine) are too old to be in the same league as last year. So that means the other 10 girls on the team are all like 9-10, while the 3 older girls are 11-12. But all the girls wanted to stay with coach so they all moved up to the next age bracket.

We practice for 1.5 hours twice a week (usually ends up going 1.75 hours or 2 when late).

The team is very good. We've only lost 3 or 4 games out of the last 5 years.
