IMO Evans would have gone undrafted no matter when he came out, but...

the '17 group had some offensive talent- Phillips, Savoy, Kumah, Keane, Zeke, McMillian, and McClease were a pretty good group of skill guys, and JJ put up 3,000 yards & 20 TDs with that group. Evans would have had a big year with those guys, and if he had come back, Isaiah Ford might have too.
