There are a lot of mafia groupies. My Brooklyn rep would

Take me to restaurants where we were the only patrons for lunch. The owner would come out and talk about all the $5-10 mill home renovations done in the neighborhood. This guy had no obvious source of revenue and he knew a little too much about wise guys. He was either connected or a groupie, like my rep.
