The chauffeur gig was a hoot

Got to drive quite a few interesting folks and hear some fun stories from other drivers.

My favorite was driving Martin Kove (John Kreese from Cobra Kai) one-on-one. Old school kinda guy, hates the "vermin" that he's working with on "Dancing with the Stars." Very appreciative of the fans who asked "insightful" questions at the Cobra Kai panel and just "get it." Loves his cigars.

Some other observations:

- Alan Ritchson (Hunger Games, Smallville) is a funny guy and has a friendly and engaging support team.
- Daniel Logan (played Boba Fett as a kid in the Star Wars prequels) is a prankster - told me the two women he got in the car with were both his wives (one was just his wife's best friend) and kept up the pretense the entire ride.
- Jacob Beckstrand (Hawk on Cobra Kai) was a nice kid on his own but tried to act tough around his cast mates.
- Emily Swallow (The Mandalorian, Supernatural) and her husband were super friendly to my wife, who drove them several times, and gave her an autographed photo as a gift.
- Frank Welker (does voices for Animaniacs, Disney, and others) was very down to earth.
- Joey Fatone swears like a sailor.
- Lou Ferrigno looks ridiculously good for his age.
- Timothy Omundson (Carlton Lassiter from "Psych") moves very slowly due to a stroke but still sat for hours engaging with fans.
- Nick Carter (Backstreet Boys) and William Katt ("The Greatest American Hero") spent a lot of time hanging out together - kind of an odd couple.
- Tara Reid is every bit as snooty as you might expect.
- Few people liked dealing with Loretta Swit, though in fairness she's probably got dementia.
- Tom Arnold never had anyone in his autograph line that I could tell.
- Sam J. Jones (the movie "Flash Gordon") teaches security drivers and gave my wife a lot of insights during the 30 minutes she drove him back from an after-party.

Also interacted with authors, artists, prop designers, managers, and security guys. The vast majority were friendly and would happily talk with you. A few preferred to stay quiet. Fortunately I didn't have any jerks, and I think the event organizers work hard to make sure that kind doesn't get invited.
