Comparing QP is apples to oranges.


The secondaries he is throwing against are all guys who couldn't play 1A ball, not to mention in a P5 conference. The knock on him was that he didn't read defenses well and was late delivering the ball. In 1aa he is a stud, in 1a, he is not good enough. He knew that, which is why he left.

But, two reasons we can't throw the ball. First, line is not great at giving QBs passing lanes and QBs are not confident and settled in the pocket. Second, our receivers don't get open. That has been true for about a decade, through 2 HCs.
