My son goes to a small Catholic school in PA. You call and they will talk with you as long as you want and help you in any way they can. Definitely not treated like a number there. When my son visited for an official sports visit, he was taken by the coach to the head of Mechanical Engineering, who had his resume on his desk and had questions of his own. His parting shot was if my son needed help in a class, he'd be getting it from him, not some TA. He also promised if my son did the work, he'd finish in 4 years with at least a 3.0 because he would ensure he got whatever he needed to succeed academically. Was not a hard choice after that. George Mason, Delaware, Towson, Ohio.....none of those schools' administrative offices were helpful at all.
