In theory, I don't disagree. The problem is Lane Stadium itself.

The bench seating simply doesn't work for that. If we had NFL type seating, with a chair for every butt, it will work. But the real issue were the students trying to fill in at 200% capacity of the open spots.

Not to mention that they felt that they could fill in when someone got up to go to the concession stand or the restroom. Part of the issue here is undoing 20 years of a lack of upbringing by their parents. I don't know how you fix that. They would not leave when someone said it was their seats, they just tried to cram in anywhere close. A very entitlement kind of attitude.
