Louisville, Cincinnati, UCF, Houston, SMU, Tulane, USF, East Carolina, etc were all C-USA. It is sort of like a collection of the old Metro Conference. VT, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, and Florida State got out before being in C-USA.

I don't knock C--USA. That is a stepping stone conference to groom coaches and football programs.
