I don't see that as anywhere close to a realistic goal


the current landscape of college football is about the mouse. May not like it, but it's the reality. To be relevant you must be touted on ESPN/ABC.

The Big 12 will no longer have anything to entice the mouse, not to mention their primary media outlet is Fox (or Balley's or whatever you call it). Without that, the conference will be no different than the AAC or C-USA, a bunch of teams with no national cache, no premier teams, and nothing in common to build rivalries around. The Big12 has struggled with that already, this just removes the only thing the conference had to offer which was OU and TX.

If WV wants to be in a power conference, they need to beg their way into the ACC or Big 10, if not, they will be the tallest midget again in a conference that no one cares about.
