This will make the B12 much more far flung than any other P5 conference.

If we look at the distance (by road) to circumnavigate each of the P5 conferences, we have the SEC at 3100 miles [Gainesville-Austin-Norman-Columbia (MO)-Lexington-Columbia (SC)-Gainesville], the B1G at 3200 miles [Lincoln-Bloomington-College Park-New Brunswick-Lansing, Minneapolis-Lincoln], the ACC at 3800 miles [Chestnut Hill-South Bend-Tallahassee-Coral Gables-Chestnut Hill}, the P12 at 3900 miles [Seattle, Los Angeles-Tucson-Boulder-Seattle] and the B12 at a whopping 5200 miles [Orlando-Morgantown-Provo-Waco/Lubbock-Orlando]. It is going to cost a lot of travel money for their Olympic sports teams.
