Our local unemployment is below 5%


The extra benefits have gone away but not the normal unemployment benefits.

Also the boomers are retiring and the younger generations are smaller.

Top that off with less temp immigrant labor since Covid.

I would expect most states to have unemployment rates below their pre Covid totals by the end of the year.
