Then I'm looking and listening in all the wrong places, because I sure


haven't seen it.

Because to be blunt, this virus isn't dangerous enough to warrant what we are spending to combat it. It just isn't.

And don't take that as hand-waving Covid as inconsequential or overblown. It's bad. It's the worst we've seen in a hundred years. But it isn't killing a quarter of the population like the Black Death did. But we're spending money and incurring other social costs like it is.

Maybe people are "talking" about it, but no one is actually doing the math and making the hard cost/benefit decisions.
