What value does ND provide the ACC (serious question)

I read below what seems like animosity for ND being a part of the ACC for Olympic sports and basketball but not football. They receive full revenue sharing for non football sports. My question is, what value is ND bringing back to the ACC for this arrangement? The ACC is already one of the best conferences in basketball and Olympic sports so what exactly has been achieved by adding ND? Ive read these sports don’t generate a bunch of money, rather football supposedly does. Help me understand the value of the arrangement. Not being snarky here, asking a serious question as except for some ill guided hope of ND joining for football (not holding my breath) why even have this partnership? Is ND generating more revenue than they are receiving? They have won some ACC championships and national championships in Fencing and Women’s Basketball I think. But is that worth the revenue being shared? Is it more about academic relationships? Appreciate the insight. I think anything less than full membership causes more long term harm than good within a conference. I loathed the Big East for not having VT as a full member right away.
