I would say nothing excludes even the removal of in-state rivalries
It would be in Clemson's best interest frankly to schedule a game in that slot with one of the premier teams in the Big 10 and Pac12. Same with Georgia Tech, and same with Florida State.
Isolationism doesn't flourish long term, so force the SEC to isolate due to their "poaching". Let's see what the SEC looks like in 15 years when they only play themselves and directional schools. For basketball it may be less severe cause there are still sold conferences outside the Pac, Acc, and Big10 but it means a lot more matchups between these schools in these 3 conferences.
