The Big 12, who I have criticized relentlessly forever, famously allowed the schools to keep their tier 3 revenue; but they ALSO let them each keep a game that they could sell or otherwise do with what they wished.

So what if the ACC football revenue was divided into two parts. The league games and Championship Game get paid out evenly to everyone. But OOC games are owned by the schools. That will push the schools to play higher profile games/schedules and it will also reward the schools with the bigger ratings draws. Wanna get paid more? Then build your brand. It would also open the door a little wider for ND...neither the SEC or B1G would offer that.

And one other possible twist on this...form an alliance with the PAC where each team plays two interconference games a year with the ACCN and PACN broadcasting the home games. That would increase the value of both networks. And maybe even expand it and make it 4 games for basketball...everybody gets a holiday road trip.
