...but I really wanted the Telluride. We both liked them, but they had just hit the market at the time and inventory was scarce then, too. Plus, I have a personal rule about not buying the first model year of any vehicle, and I wouldn't let myself break that rule, even though in retrospect, it seems like it would have been OK - I'm not aware of any major issues that the Telluride has had so far.

I'm glad we got the Sorrento when we did - we got a pretty good deal on it, especially compared to what stuff costs now. We also got the last year of their V6 Sorrentos - apparently now they only come with a Turbo 4-cylinder engine. It's probably a good engine, but I just prefer naturally-aspirated from a simplicity standpoint.
