Change coming in NC gun permitting?


I just heard on local radio that a bill that already passed the NC House is now before the NC Senate that will end local Sheriffs from processing and approving gun purchases. The NC Sheriff’s Assn already has approved this since, with Federal background checks now required by licensed gun dealers, the Sheriff part is unnecessary duplication.
