Loved my Audi when I had one, but YEAH, repairs were, let's say,


'challenging'.

I took it for an oil change once to not the dealer and they complained about having to remove a steel panel on the bottom of the car covering the parts they needed to access.

My brother in law, upon seeing the engine, commented "Wow. They really don't want you working on this yourself, do they?"

I actually WAS going to try and do a headlight change myself, but the instructions included needing to buy a special extra long screwdriver with a unique head and also removing the air intake tubing....just to change a headlight.

Also went to a non dealer shop to do a coolant flush and it required cutting through some tube that that shop wouldn't have been able to replace.

So yes, they were NOT designed for ease of service.
