Was the 260Z 250 lbs heavier than the 240Z?

Wonder if the weight gain was linear? Any explanation on why the weight increased?

The early 240s had carbs, but I think the later 240s had FI. That's a little more complexity, and weight, but I wouldn't think it added that much additional weight. I'm sure if it compared a manual 240 to a AT equipped 280, that probably added a bit of weight.
