That's exactly how I felt when I posted it.


"Too bad" is the key. Unfortunately, the SEC and Big Ten have been a step ahead of the ACC the past 30 years. The SEC just made the first move in this round of expansion. Like Packer and Durham said this morning, the football schools in the ACC need to get better and get better fast. That would strengthen the ACC but then again it could also make the better football schools become more attractive to the SEC and B1G. How many ACC schools will put the conference's best interests before their own school's? Answer: ZERO. It won't surprise me to see other schools from the Big 12 and ACC making "surprise" announcements about leaving for greener pastures. I think Kansas is a goner from the Big 12 and that Clemson and FSU would leave the ACC in a second if the SEC invited them. UVA and GT are probably talking to the Big Ten. Maybe Pitt. I just hope Tech isn't sitting around and "hoping".
