Love his passion. He's right about the direction of college football.

But, Nebraska was on a downward trend BEFORE going to the B1G. Texas broke up the OU-Nebraska rivalry in the BigXII. Nebraska was put in the North Division and I don't even think OU and Nebraska played every year. Texas is toxic. Nebraska's recruiting pipeline was drying up.

HOWEVER, back to his main point, I think the bean counters behind the scenes feeding data to the decision makers think that cutting out all the little guys and consolidating a league will translate to bigger numbers. It's not a zero sum game. Most people have a school or a team, and then follow the rest of the sport. If you start cutting out schools, fans of those teams won't be like "Oh yea, these pukes just destroyed my program. I'll just follow Alabama now. Roll Tide."

I love that SicEm365 show, What's great about that caller is that he lived in PA and rooted for Michigan. His conference, school, and even home town team aren't going to get left behind. And he is calling into a Baylor show. It's like there is solidarity among REAL college football fans. Those Baylor radio guys are extremely calm and measured considering what is about to happen to them.
