How bout their inability to move the needle in ACC Network subscriptions


either cable or streaming... To move needle, ACC must expand its base of subscription and quick BSing around with Comcast whilst expanding to new larger markets.. ND is no brainer as it carries a national following, but with the expansion to 12 playoff teams, ND is out of the loop. Thus, the braintrust in Greensboro, must expand into new fertile ground, one that has large alumni, major US population and ability to spend those Benjamins....

Consider this.. follow the SEC...Expand into Texas, leveraging upheaval that will occur in the state and target two coveted markets: Dallas/Fort Worth: SMU, TCU and Houston in Houston, easy airport access, competitive teams moves the needed for ACC Network, expands recruiting coverage into fertile grounds of Texas. This is a fertile TV audience that loves its football... membership also brings some other sports in baseball, softball, indoor track and basketball.

ACC breathen need to think beyond close proximity and grab the TV markets... Thank GOD, Johnny boy and his love for the roundball conference goal is gone. Suspect Mr Phillips will seize this opportunity.
